The Rodchenko Art School (Moscow) was founded in 2006. The School is a part of the Multimedia Centre of Actual Arts incorporating the Moscow House of Photography and the Multimedia Art Museum (Moscow) and was established by the Department of Culture and Education of the City of Moscow.

The main 3-year educational program of the Rodchenko Art School is based on the experience of leading international photography and art schools and is inspired by the Russian Avant-garde Art and Technical schools.

The School aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of contemporary art such as documentary and art photography, video art, new media art, bio and science art, sound art, contemporary sculpture and installation; to introduce students to the history and theory of photography, media and contemporary art; and to assist students in selecting a field of specialization. The Rodchenko School offers the study of tools not only for photography, filming, lighting and sound recording, but also for new directions of media art such as generative graphics, neural networks, AR/VR, 3D printing, development of hardware/software interactive systems and musical instruments, robotics and others.

At the end of the third year, students have the opportunity to present their degree projects in a group exhibition at one of the major exhibition venues in Moscow.

The main educational program of the School is available for applicants who have passed the necessary admission exams. Every year the School takes in around 30 new students. Budget and paid places of study are provided.
